With vast swathes of rural land and enormous populations to feed, Asia is the world’s major consumer of fertilizers. In China alone, some 40 million tonnes of urea are needed each year to produce nitrogen fertilizers.

We have 22 licensed plants in the country and six major debottlenecking projects successfully completed. We helped create the largest capacity plant in the world, and Stamicarbon has worked in virtually every Asian country including India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Indonesia.
