Stamicarbon has significant experience in dealing with potentially hazardous situations and implementing safety strategies.
There are various potential hazards in any urea plant, including sudden NH3 release. The services we offer include an H2 removal unit in the CO2 feed that prevents build-up of explosive synthesis mixtures; continuous leak monitoring for HP equipment with loose liners; and the discharge of emergency relief systems into the atmosphere to 'safe' locations.
