Cherepovetsky Azot JSC, a company under CSJC Phos Agro
AG, has awarded a contract to Chemoprojekt SA to build a new 1500
tons per day urea plant in Cherepovets in Russia .
Stamicarbon will provide the license and Process Design Package
for this project.
Apart from Stamicarbon's trademark elements featuring a Pool
Reactor and Safurex ® stainless steel, particular care is being
taken to minimize emissions further than to standard level.
The urea plant is expected to start production in June 2011.
The plant is the first new urea plant to be established in Russia
after many years and leads to a new era of investments in
fertilizer plants in Russia . Stamicarbon looks forward to
continue its excellent and valuable cooperation with
Chemoprojekt, in order to secure more future projects in Russia
and the FSU.
The ground breaking and the foundation stone ceremony was held at
July 3, 2008, attended by all participating companies in the
project.
