A customer of Stamicarbon, has awarded Stamicarbon 3 contracts on urea projects with each a capacity of 3250 mtpd in one line. The plants are planned to be in operation in 2012.

The technology for the urea melt plants is Urea 2000plus™ with full Safurex® synthesis. The granulation technology is the proprietary Stamicarbon fluid bed granulation. The capacity of the granulation plants will be 3600 mtpd.
Engineering and construction works on main plants together with utilities and accessories will be executed by local contractors.
