    Reduce plant emissions

In modern urea plants, the main source of pollution comes from the finishing section: Stamicarbon strives to reduce these emissions to values far below the standard level.

The finishing section of a urea plant can be prilling or granulation.. The ammonia emissions can be reduces far below the international standards by acidic washing of the emitting gasses. Similarly, we use the best available technology to reduce urea dust emissions to a minimum.
