| The changing market situation made Stamicarbon commercialize
its patented fluid bed urea granulation technology, which was
developed in the seventies and eighties and recently applied
in a commercial plant in GPO Azot, Grodno, Belarussia.
This plant is operating at or above design capacity with
superior product quality meeting all product quality standards.
Stamicarbon is now in the position to license the total package
urea technology: urea melt plant and finishing sections either
prilling or granulation.

Also a granulation plant with a capacity of 1250 mtpd in
two lines is now operating in Canada.
