Trendsetting inspection

Stamicarbon offers non-destructive testing services with respect to quality control (manufacturing) and in-situ inspection (turnarounds) of HP urea and ammonia process equipment. Stamicarbon inspection methods developed for HP urea equipment are focused on critical areas of the corrosion resistant materials used (liners, overlay welds, tubes, tube-to-tube sheet welds). For this purpose a variety of specific and reliable inspection systems have been developed and implemented over the past 25 years.

Methods are improved constantly, while also new techniques are developed in order to deal with inspection tasks related to new construction materials such as Safurex^®.

Stamicarbon has also developed several non-destructive inspection systems [145 Kb] and methods with respect to quality control and in-situ inspection of HP urea equipment, especially the HP stripper, HPCC and HP scrubber and reactor.
