Introduction
 The
introduction of Stamicarbon’s latest CO2
stripping process, called the Urea 2000plus™
process, is another milestone. By combining equipment, in
the synthesis section, the number of high pressure vessels
in the process is reduced, thereby simplifying the overall
design, piping and construction.
The urea synthesis, centered around either a pool reactor
or a pool condenser (in combination with an existing reactor
in case of a revamp), offers significant process improvements.
We are proud to have succeeded in making major improvements
to a technology which many considered to be in a mature stage.
This achievement exemplifies our continuous commitment to
development.
