About Joey Dobree
Mr. Dobrée has a Bachelor degree in Chemical Engineering at the Hanze University and a Master degree in Industrial Engineering and Management at the University of Groningen, the Netherlands. After graduation Mr. Dobrée started working as process engineer for Stamicarbon in 2007, the Licensing and IP Group Center of Maire Tecnimont. After seven years in the role of Licensing Manager, Mr. Dobrée is now responsible for innovation, product development and product management of Stamicarbon’s technology portfolio as Product Portfolio Manager.

About Leon Heijnen
Mr. Leon Heijnen obtained bachelor degrees (BSc) in both Control Engineering and Process Engineering at the university of professional education in Heerlen the Netherlands in 1987 and 2004 respectively.
He started his career in 1989 with DSM as a Process Control engineer in the Fertilizer division. In 1998 he joined Stamicarbon as a Process Control Engineer. In this role he was responsible for the process control and instrumentation design of several urea grassroot and revamp projects.
In 2006 he moved to the Process department of Stamicarbon and as a lead Process Engineer responsible for the design of several urea grassroot plants. Moreover he performed several revamp studies, energy and emission reduction studies and took part in several DHS’s.
Moreover Leon gained a lot of operational experiences in the urea business by spending all together several years on commissioning sites all over the world. He was part of the Stamicarbon (pre-)commissioning teams for Safco-3 and -4, Fertil-2 and Azomures, as well as several jobs in China, Belarus, USA, and Germany.
In 2017 he moved from the Technology department of Stamicarbon to Sales, working as a Sales and Solutions Manager, being responsible for (after) sales services and commercializing and developing the product portfolio related to the “full life cycle support” philosophy of Stamicarbon, mainly in the Middle East and Northern Africa.
Since Jan 1st, 2021 his role changed to Global Process Sales Manager, with a focus on Process Related Services, of which the Stamicarbon’s Digital Services are the main pillar. As of Feb 1st, 2022 he is responsible for the (after-) sales and services for the North America region.
Leon Heijnen was a speaker on several Stamicarbon symposiums, Nitrogen and Syngas conferences, Arab Fertilizer Association (AFA) conferences and workshops and the AIchE ammonia safety conference.
