Mr. Leo Rams received a BSc degree in chemical engineering at Zuyd University, School of technology, Heerlen in the Netherlands and completed a two-year course business administration at the “Samenwerkende Leergangen Bedrijfkunde” of the Chamber of Commerce of Maastricht.

He started his career at DSM Research B.V. and Stamicarbon B.V. He is co-founder of Protomation B.V., a company specialized in Operator Training Simulators, for which he held the position of Manager Marketing & Sales for 9 years and holds his current position of Managing Director for 11 years now.

After the acquisition of Protomation B.V. by Stamicarbon on July 18th 2019 he has been appointed as Digital Business Manager focusing on the further development of Stamicarbon’s Digital Services portfolio to the benefit of Stamicarbon’s customers and beyond.
