In addition to emissions-reducing scrubbing systems, and green power-based ammonia technologies we aim to be a leader in digital tools for the optimization of existing and new plants.  The ultimate goal of such tools are the cleanest running and most efficient production of nitrogen-based fertilizers in history. 

The Proposal Manager Digital Products and Services (PMDPS) for LAUNCH will focus on these tools to complement the sale and license of our new plant technologies, working in support of and cooperation with LAUNCH Licensing Managers.  From our new Stami Green Ammonia to Stami Nitric Acid to our cornerstone Urea products and services, we have developed and continue to improve digital tools such as mirrored, high fidelity training simulators, and algorithmic optimizing process monitoring with the capability to vastly improve the performance of a plant and its operational staff. Our suite of digital services is developed to help fertilizer plants reach operational excellence by harnessing the power of real-time data

The PMDPS will master our in-house knowledge regarding plant design and operations as well as existing digital tools to develop client and plant-specific value propositions. These can include existing services such as:

Process Monitor – Using operational data to stabilize and optimize the client’s plant. This online process model includes Stamicarbon’s state-of-the-art H&M balance, thermodynamic and kinetic fertilizer models

Process Optimizer – Analyze and advise on possible improvements. Our digital Process Optimizer takes our service to a new level and combines it with real-time process control and customization.

Process Simulator – Training programs to keep you and your staff up to date with the latest simulation technologies. The trainings can be tailor-made to specific client needs using the most advanced digital tools.

In addition the PMDPS will coordinate with other departments in Stamicarbon to develop digital strategies, products and services and new ways of servicing our markets with data-driven solutions.  These solutions will help our clients operate cleaner, more efficient and more competitive plants.  All the while reducing our industry’s carbon footprint and helping our clients with sustainable production.

As potential new colleague you are a strong communicator liaising with the different stakeholders and have the commercial drive to make us best in class. Strong knowledge of the international contractor world, digital services and making clients and Stamicarbon’s interests meet are important assets to this challenging role. You recognize yourself in the characteristics: keen entrepreneurship, accurate, inspirational leader, flexible with strong focus on service, able to work with deadlines with strong focus on results and team spirit. You are fluent in English both spoken and written and enjoy frequent travelling abroad.

You have a high energy level, and combine a Technical bachelor/master degree with relevant years of experience within the agrobusiness industrial sector with commercial background including plant optimization. It’s important that you have experience in creating a more digital plant and a minimum of 10 years of experience in a technical solution/consultancy role.  You have affinity with digitalization and the design, construction and operation of urea plants and familiarity of international contractor world. Next to that you have strong financial, economic and legal knowledge  with experience with Microsoft Dynamics as a CRM tool. You are excellent in stakeholder management, pro-active and a self-starter.
