I started working at Stamicarbon as a process control engineer about 10 years ago when the company only had about 70 employees, so I witnessed Stamicarbon evolve and become the multicultural company it is today. My ambition was to excel in chemical and process engineering, so after four years I have become a process engineer and now I work as a senior process engineer.
My initial motivation to join Stamicarbon was because of the opportunity to travel around the world, interact with people from different cultural backgrounds, and exchange knowledge. Here we have a lot of international colleagues, but also our clients come from different parts of the globe, and I got to enjoy diverse cultural environments and different types of discussions over the years of my work.
Every business trip, every visit to the client brings its own experiences and stories. For example, during my trips to China, I have gained a lot of insight into local culture, having the chance to visit different parts of the country and enjoy local food.

What I like the most about my work is being involved from the beginning of the project till the very end, all the while gaining valuable knowledge and experience. Being a licensor, Stamicarbon actively participates in the process, helping our customers and guiding them in the direction that is beneficial to their business.

I enjoy working with technology, engaging in challenging discussions and helping people with their technical queries based on my knowledge. At Stamicarbon there is always creative thinking process behind the solution to every problem.

Historically, the company accumulated a lot of knowledge and we continue building upon this knowledge every day. It is an interesting and challenging environment where you can learn and grow. I’ve been working at Stamicarbon for about 10 years, yet I learn something new every day because the field is so vast, so broad that even if you are already an expert, you can still find something new, something you didn’t know before.
