Stamicarbon has always been at the very forefront of Urea technology development, but also a pioneer in introducing innovative business concepts and models for its clients. Project Development is a recent example of this. Stamicarbon, in collaboration with Maire Tecnimont Group, has set-up MET Development S.p.A. (“METDEV”) which has succesfully implemented Project Development in the Fertilizer industry to support specific clients with their growth strategies around the world.

Project Development entails the multi-disciplinary and entrepreneurial process in which we join our clients in the early phases of a project to co-develop the project until and beyond the Final Investment Decision. This process includes amongst others technical/industrial development, project structuring/contracting, project financing and equity participation. This presentation will highlight our Project Development concept, share our experiences and our success story.
