Stamicarbon teamed up with sister companies Kinetics Technology, NextChem Tech and Tecnimont to implement state-of-the-art digital solutions for hydrogen production and sulfur recovery units. The collaboration included the delivery of two Operator Training Simulators, which will be used not only for operator training but also for testing and tuning the Digital Process Monitor. 

Stamicarbon celebrates the first delivery of a Safurex^® Infinity diaphragm seal to a customer in North America. The delivery consists of the first diaphragm seal built with the newly developed state-of-the-art Safurex^® foil (thickness of 100µm) used for diaphragm seal systems for level and pressure transmitters.

Stamicarbon, together with regional welding and machine shop partners, has successfully engineered, led and supervised the urgent relining of a leaking urea reactor in a non-Stamicarbon plant for a customer in North America.

Three finalists presented their innovative ideas at the Brightlands Campus Greenport in Venlo, with Milan Meyberg taking home the award and a cash prize of EUR 35,000.

The pre-feasibility study is the initial phase to define the process configuration of a 450 MTPD green ammonia plant for a major fertilizer producer in the Middle East. It will focus on the process units within battery limits, including Stami Green Ammonia as the core technology.

Three nominees selected on September 27 during the Pitch Event at the Brightlands Chemelot Campus in Geleen, the Netherlands, will compete in the final round of Marc Cornelissen Brightlands Award for sustainability pioneers. 

Stamicarbon and its partner Sprana, headquartered in Vilnius, Lithuania, have won a Eurostars grant to develop a new innovation project based on applying Near InfraRed spectroscopy for online analysis of Diesel Exhaust Fluid.
